About Barcode Mitra

We are a vegan burger bar in in the busy Croatian capital city of Zagreb. Founded in 2018, our mission has been to create something truly original and delicious within the realm of vegan burgers. We offer an assortment of different colored burgers; red, yellow, green, and brown. Each has it's own combination of ingredients and unique taste. We invite you to try them all and discover your favorite!

How are we that good?

The secret is in our food and our staff. Every burger is not only tasty and juicy, but it’s also served with a smile! Our philosophy is that vegan food doesn’t have to be only for vegans, and that it certainly isn’t boring or tasteless. We try our best to make delicious, filling food for all types of gourmands.

Our ingredients

Our bread is baked by Galerija Kruha Demetra, a Croatian bakery which truly makes wonderful homemade style bread. The ingredients for our burgers are sourced from local farmers and markets. All of the fruits and vegetables we put inside of our burgers are fresh, seasonal, and give each burger a unique, special taste.

Worth every penny! ♥️ It is very noticeable that the recipes were very carefully thought thorough and made with a lot of love. if I were running a vegan restaurant, I too would try to make it very desirable for non-vegans 💪 And hey, pear in a burger - for 3 years being a vegan and a decade being a vegetarian - I NEVER would have thought of it 😁✨
